Golden State College is a private academic institution established in 2011 E.C. (2018 G.C.), with its head office located in Oromia Regional State, Sheger City, Furi Sub-City. Since its establishment, the College has demonstrated remarkable growth in terms of academic programs, quality education, student enrollment, institutional facilities, and community services.
The College is committed to providing quality, accessible, and relevant education that responds to the changing educational and developmental needs of Ethiopia. It places strong emphasis on effective teaching and learning, student development, practical skills, research, publications, and community engagement. Through these efforts, Golden State College aims to contribute meaningfully to the social and economic development of the country.
Golden State College has progressively diversified its academic programs and departments to provide students with a wider range of educational opportunities. Currently, the College offers programs at postgraduate, undergraduate, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) levels. The TVET programs, in particular, have experienced steadily increasing enrollment as more students recognize the importance of practical and employment-oriented skills for their future careers.
